Ideally, we always recommend that you start looking around 9 months before your wedding date. Some dresses will take around 4 to 5 months to arrive and you will need to allow time for any alterations.

Don’t panic, we can help! Some designer dresses are available within a week and most can be ready within 3 months. Also, we have a beautiful range of off-the-peg gowns ready to take the same day.

Prices of our bridal gowns range from £399 - £1200, with the majority priced arond £899.

Emstrey Bridal’s gowns and dresses range from size to 10 to 22. However, gowns can be ordered in a variety of sizes. We are proud to offer a range of gowns to suit different sizes and shapes. At our boutique, we aim to give all our brides the ultimate bridal shopping experience and this begins with our choice of gowns.

Yes. We want to offer every bride exclusive use of the bridal boutique and our undivided attention, so we have an appointment-only policy. We offer appointments from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., 7 days a week, to cater for everyone’s needs.

Nope, no way! All we ask is that you call us to let us know if you cannot make your appointment so we can offer the appointment to another bride who is waiting.

We reserve the boutique for two hours for your special bridal shopping experience. With refreshments, a personal bridal stylist and exclusive use of the boutique; it’s the perfect place to find that special gown. We find that most appointments last around 90 minutes.

We would advise that you bring 2 or 3 guests, as too many opinions can get confusing. However, please don’t worry if you wish to bring more. Just remember though we all have different tastes and what we would pick for our wedding dress would all vary. So, listen to your heart after all it’s your special day.

Day in, day out, we see brides finding their dress when they least expect to! That’s why it’s important to bring along the people that matter in your life so they can be present when you experience that magical moment of you finding “the one”.

We do not ask you to bring anything. If you wish to wear a strapless or nude bra, please feel free, but do not buy one especially. We have shoes in store for you to wear whilst trying the gowns. Maybe fake tan or heavy make-up is not a good idea.

We love to create that perfect bridal look, so we have a selection of veils and hairpieces to compliment your gown. We can help style your wedding dress to make your bridal vision become a reality.

Once you have found your dream dress you would need to pay a 50% non-refundable deposit, with the remaining balance due upon your dress arriving into our boutique. We can also offer payment plans to suit.

Most dresses will need a little tweak to make the dress feel like your dress. You are more than welcome to use any seamstress, but we can suggest a very experienced seamstress who knows our dresses well and is very well priced. The seamstress will often want to see you and your dress (and shoes!) 8 weeks before your wedding date.
